We have traced some of the family history to Newbern Alabama. Last Name Frost. African Americans.

Lawrence surname in Troy Alabama. Word of mouth states that Cathen (kidd) Lawrence was possibly born on Reservation near there.  Any help would be helpful.

Cathen Kid Lawrence born 1892, marriage 6 August 1945 in Jefferson, Alabama. Parents are Steve and Eliza Lawrence. Spouse is Willie Agnes Stephens. Her parents are Willie Stephens and Maggie Clark.

Groom is 53 and bride is 24 years old.
