Fish families that moved into Marshall Co. WV in 1800-1820's

My ancestor Fish family that I can trace were living in Moundsville WV in early 1840's.  I have looked at 1820, 1830, 1840, 1850 census for Moundsville.  I would really like to know where some of these Fish families migrated from.  And in finding out I may find the roots to those of my family who settled in Moundsville and were married in 1848.

Hi Marion, thanks for the interest.  My great-great grandfather William R. Fish married Amy Venus Dec 1848 in Moundsville, WV.  I know from looking at the census for preceding years that there were other Fish families in that area.  I do not know where they originally came from or if they were related.  After 1850 my Great great grandfather moved to Lawrence County, IL where I currently live, and they stayed until 1876 then went back to Moundsville, WV.    I am trying to connect this family with possibly other Fish families that came into Marshall County earlier (maybe around the time William was born, around 1827).  I have a friend who lives in Moundsville, and he has done some research on other Fish families, but cannot seem to connect them.  Basically I am trying to find William R. Fish's father/mother.   Amy Venus his wife I have connected with her side.  Thanks for your interest and help

Thank you Mitchell.  Yes that source is correct accept for her last name.  Don't know where they got Teners.  I is Venus, but the marriage date was correct.  I actually went to the court house many years ago and found that page, but also had a hard time reading her last name.  I am at a roadblock because I cannot find anymore connections other than their marriage and one census there.  They came to Illinois about 1850 and stayed through 1876, then moved back to Marshall County.
