Shared Photo: George Bowler

I wanted to share this family photo of George Bowler with the community. Date: estimated as around1880.

Are there any experts on the British Army of the mid-Victorian period who can help with this? If this picture is of George Bowler, as I believe it is, this should be the uniform of the 80th Regiment of Foot(Staffordshire Volunteers). George served with them for 23 years, including in India during the period of the "Mutiny". The middle medal ribbon appears to be that for the Indian Mutiny Medal".

The questions are:

1. Is this the uniform of 80th Foot, and if so is it that of a musician?

2. Despite the poor quality of the image can anyone identify the other medals ribbons? Perhaps related to the "Bhutan War" of 1864-65.
