Why is doubleclick.net tracking WikiTree?

My web browser (Safari) is telling me that doubleclick.net is attempting to track my WikiTree activity. (Safari is blocking this attempt for me.) My understanding is that WikiTree would have to be complicit in this arrangement. Is this spelled out in any published policy statement? If so, please show me where. BTW, I find this very disappointing.

The privacy policy mentions you may get cookies from Google (who owns doubleclick).

Well, that pays the bill right?

But you are very right, there should be a clear notice with the cookie message, at least for EU viewers. There is another tracker for Ancestry links.

See https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1099278/partner-link-still-active?show=1099278

No answers to that question either...

doubleclick.net tracks as many sites as they can with all users all over the internet.  My blocker blocks them from all my web activity. I have been blocking them for years.

How, please?
Chrome Extension: Ad blocker. Before I got it I had to block tracking sites in my settings. Block or Allow cookies and in my Block domain list in internet preferences.
