Why is the October 1,000 Badge being awarded in December, and not in November?
closed with the note: Numerous obvious answers

I am sure that it will be awarded in November (1 Nov). But consider the different time zones.
Only the note next to the badge is already changed to November. The number of contributions is still on October.
This happens at the end/beginning of each month.

I imagine that "earned the October Club 1,000 badge, to be awarded on the first day of December" is simply a typing mistake. Am I correct?

I have seen this issue being raised several times before, the monthly badge will be awarded at the 1st of the month for the previous month.
