How to select spelling variation of LNAB for a merge when there are no sources?

We've got Ellison and Allison with no sources to support either variant.

Should we just go with the older dated profile when merging or perhaps the spelling variation that is most common for the time period of late 1700s?

Either way more sources are required. She was born around 1790 and married 1799?

I might suggest going with UNKNOWN.  Because her correct name is unknown and seems unlikely to be known.

Better perhaps than leaving Samuel in limbo with two wives.
