Mary Hester Evans, born, say, 1666, lives in multiple ancestry, geni and other popular genealogies, but no records prove her existence in history. She even has a profile in Marlyn Lewis' site, who normally does better than this, but got his information from an ancestry site run by "Nancy Drew." Imagine!
Double given names were unheard of in the 1600s, but Mary Hester joins a family that includes Mary Catherine (already on the disproven existence rolls) and Thomas Griffin Lewis.
A Giles Blizzard did have a wife Mary, maiden name unknown, who may be the source of Mary Hester. But Mary Hester is so prevalent on the internet that her profile needs to be retained to keep others from re-creating it.
So this is the required one week notice before we badge her with Disproven Existence.
