First, Anne Barbe Dervain (Dervain -9) and Anne Barbe (Dervain) Bertrand (Dervain -18 are, I think the same person.
Same date of birth, 1731.
Same husband, Antoine Bertrand/Berterant.
On the page for Dervain-18, Antoine Bertrand is listed as husband, but no sources shown.
On the page for Dervain -18, spouse is listed as unknown, but a source is cited at the bottom of the page:
1. Archdiocese of New Orleans Sacramental Records, Volume 2, 1751-1771. Earl C. Woods and Charles E. Nolan, editors. Archdiocese of New Orleans , 1988, p. 89. Text : DERVAIN Anne Barbe (Erne and Marie Conrard), native of St. Charles Parish, m. Antonine Berterant, Feb.22, 1751 (SCB,B2,62.)
In addition, from my own research, using the SWLA Records (1750-1900) CD 100 I have these :
Bertrand, Charles Adelard (Vincent-native of St. Charles & Victoire Gravoy, native of Halifax) b. 30 March, 1809, bt 29 May, 1809 @ La Bute au De Pats: Antoine Bertrand-of Montreal & Anne Barbe Darvin- of St. Charles; Mats: Joseph Gravoy & Magdeleine Bourck-of Acadies. Fr. Michel Bernard Barrierre. (SM Ch V6a p. 48.
Bertrand, Ursin (twin) (Vincent of St. Charles on the River & Marie Victoire Gravois- Halifax).b 12 June, 1811,bpt. 8 Sept, 1911. Pats: Antoine Bertrand & Anne Barbe Dervain. Mats: Joseph Gravois & Magdeleine Bourk. Fther Gabriel Isabey, SM Ch V6, #1225
It seems fair to say that they had at least 1 son, Vincent Bertrand, who married Marie Victoire Gravois.
Thanks for your consideration.
