BRICK WALL looking for Jacob Elliott b.1790 d. 1848

Jacob Elliott b.1790-1848 (Elliott-15693) m.1835 in New York to Malony Sylvester, daughter of Richard & Mehitable (Burnall) Sylvester. Father to Alpheus Leanaer Elliott b. 4 Nov 1838.

This is my grandmothers wish to find her 2x great grandfather. She and now past sister have been searching for over 30 years for records. She just turned 99 and I'm bond to help her complete this one last request. If you can help me, please contact me for more information or look at Alpheus (Elliott-15691) to start. Thank you

From what my grandmother has told me, Alpheus was the only child. Everything stopped at Alpheus. We are still unsure if Malony Sylvester is the daughter of Richard Sylvester. Somewhere I have a document that says he is.
