I am a descendant of Richard Tyner Sr. through his daughter Elizabeth Tyner Boatright. I match Vicki V listed above on Chr. 11 at 9.4 CM. His second wife is Agnes Dougherty, and Elizabeth's mother. I am trying to discern parentage of both Richard and Agnes.

I have looked on FamilySearch.org and have been told various reasons Agnes McDaniel Dougherty Tyner never existed, and that her parents cannot be found. I am on ancestry and found many trees with Agnes parents are a Cherokee Trapper named McDaniel and a Native American woman known as Granny Hopper. However, no sources are attached to this person, and have found very little information on searches on that site. I have joined DNA studies on GEDmatch, Facebook groups,
