Shared photo: My family at their cottage

Question

Often, when i browse shared photos on wikitree, they are old black & white photos that capture a special moment in history.

I'll try to change things up a bit and add a more recent photo which comes from my own family album. It's one that always brings joy to my heart whenever I see it.

In this picture, we can see my grandmother holding my brother in her arms, my grandfather, my cousins and myself, riding that red truck in a stylish pose.

There is something about this picture which just gets me every time. I don't know if it is the bright colors of the 90s clothing or the fact that it helps me remember my grandparents, which passed away pretty early in my life. In any case I hope it will bring the same smile to you as it does to me!

I agree it's a heartwarming photo;  not only a gorgeous family but a beautiful setting too.     So often,   families don't  "take a pause"  and make photos like this.   Hope you've kept in contact with your cousins!
