Hi,

could you specify that a little bit. On ancestry there are 20 Süwelkrüps. Most of them are located in Lübeck, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany and the surrounding countys.

All the Lübeck ones are my family, but everything seems to stop right there, nothing seems to back further. Almost like my family just appeared out of thin air.
The oldest Süwelkrüp (Johann Hinrich Süwelkrüp) becomes citizen of Lübeck on 3. Oct. 1854.
According to the naturalization certificate he is said to have been born on 04. Jan. 1826 in Schackendorf.
Schackendorf is a community in the county of Segeberg in Schleswig-Holstein; it belongs to the parish of Segeberg.
Unfortunately, no church records from the Segeberg parish district are currently available online. I myself urgently wait for it, because 70% of my family comes from this area.
Do you need documents from ancestry or do you have access to them yourself. If not I could copy them and send them to you.
Johann Hinrich Süwelkrüp died 7 Jun 1911 in Huntenhorst (a fisherman's Nest) near Lübeck.

Huntenhorst belongs to the municipality Utecht and the parish Herrnburg (both Northwest Mecklenburg). The parish burial record and the death certificate of the registry office are both online avaible.

In this documents Badendorf is as his birth location mentioned.

Badendorf belongs to the Stormarn county in Schleswig-Holstein and to the parish Zarpen (church district Plön-Segeberg).

As mentioned above at the moment no church records online avaible for that church district.
Anything you could provide would be great.  I was born here, but my father and obviously family all come from the Lübeck, Travemüde and Hamburg area.  Was planning on going back this past June to visit family and research thing, but a little obsticle, Covid, got in the way.

Hi Eric,

because the profiles are open I directly upload the images as sources to the concerning profiles.

I also change/add the names, dates and locations.

I hope I could help you a little bit.
