The above 3 men all came from Chenommet in Angoumois to New France.  The first two, Pierre and Jean Morier or Mourier, are present at each other's weddings and stated to be cousins.  What degree of cousinship is not stated.

The third man, Nicolas Durand, has Jean Mourier present at his wedding, no relationship stated.

Jetté says Nicolas is cousin to the other two.  None of them has a Fichier origine.  Any assistance would be appreciated to establish the possible links between them.  The Morier men both have a father named Jean.  Nicolas' parents bear no names found with the other two.

Unfortunately, the parish registers for Chenommet are only available online for the period between 1737 and 1792. They apparently have microfilms (to be viewed on site....) but not before 1651. frown dommage,

So do I create a profile to link the two Jean Morier, fathers of my immigrants, as brothers with the notice that the exact relationship is uncertain, their sons being stated as cousins but no degree mentioned?
