Just this week the last week in September 2020 i have made contact with a family member of Felix Baker (wikitree baker-32259) b 1824 from Kings Somborne Hampshire England who would be my great uncle whom i Found out that i was named after, (it had taken me some years as to where the name of Felix came from, being told many stories until i started my wikitree journey) but i am in NSW Australia & some 200 years later to Felix Baker's date of birth, so this is a strange twist of a great outcome, what a find & thanks to the wide reaching web of the wikitree family, Ros Smith (Baker)who lives in Hampshire England made contact with me in Kempsey NSW Australia after reading my notes on our Felix Baker's wikitree profile baker-32259. Ros is the GG Granddaughter of Felix Baker. I am delighted to have such a contact. We have swapped info & find many similar names & work trades. one such photo is of Ros's dad & my Dad very similar features. Now that contacts have been made our lines of communications are wide open from Baker country in Kings Somborne Hampshire in England to Baker country in Kempsey Macleay Valley NSW Australia. The dates are from 1824 when Felix was born to now 2020 when Ros made contact just on 200 years, i think it's up there with the great finds i have made since i started my journey on wikitree.
