While updating info on Dean, I got him as a brother to himself too !  how to correct ?

Hey,

You have created a new Dean, instead of editing the current Dean. No big problem, just something to try to avoid in future.

You should merge the two profiles. Meaning you merge the new profile into the old one. You have reclined the first merge request. I have initiated a second one. Please confirm it, and then merge the biography information and expand the location information as asked by the other WT member. There should never be duplicate profiles on WikiTree, this is very different from other websites.

Please read up on the documentation on unique profiles and merging.

To add, the unmerged setting has been removed, but you will need to await confirmation from the other profile manager. If he/she does not respond within a month, the merge will become 'open' and anyone can complete it.
