Aaron Abbott was born about 1800 married about 1835. If son is Willam Jefferson Abbott, then he would probably have been born after approx 1835.

From where did William Abbott emigrate? Could it have been through Rowan, NC? His son, Joseph, married Nancy Gears. She was from Rowan, NC.I learned that William and Martha were the first Abbotts (of that side of the family) - pioneers - in Pike, IN. I do not know Martha's last name.
