Brick wall help required hello everyone I would like some help with a brick wall that I have it is Joseph talford he is on the wiki tree under my name and in my family tree the reason is that I'm adopted and this is my dad's third great-grandfather we've never been able to find his parents

a distant cousin who was the other researcher determined that they were from Yorkshire however I have other information that information shows that they were in Ireland not Yorkshire England I would like to find the parents of Joseph talford from Ireland not Yorkshire
WikiTree profile: Joseph Telford

The surname appears to be Tedford in both wife Elizabeth's will and in the property records.

Joseph Tedford was living at Foremass Lower when the Griffiths Survey was done in 1860 - http://griffiths.askaboutireland.ie/gv4/z/zoomifyDynamicViewer.php?file=228053&path=./pix/228/&rs=5&showpage=1&mysession=2731335393204&width=&height=

He was there up until 1883, see the Valuation Book VAL/12/B/36/15D, you can access it via https://apps.proni.gov.uk/Val12B/Search.aspx

I think Foremass is the name scrawled on Eliza's marriage record. (PS their marriage record is also here https://cotyroneireland.com/marriages/omagh2.html)

Joseph Tedford appears in other marriage records eg https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1856/09518/5449802.pdf and https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1846/09317/5373793.pdf
John thank you would you be able to find anything on a lady called Annie Clark who married him this information I already have

There is a death record for a Joseph Telford on Irish Genealogy (https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/) in Clogher, County Tyrone. The informant is his wife Elizabeth, but perhaps this is a second marriage.

You also say that the other WikiTree researcher for this family is now deceased - are you sure of this? Perhaps you ought to report this to info at WikiTree so that it can be followed up.

The Ann Telford that died in 1882 was married to an Edward, and lived in Ballymena, County Antrim

The other researcher that I'm talking about has passed away I'm sure of it though it's Albie Rolf
