I have very little information on my ancestor. All I was given was a direct lineage and a rough date of birth in Scotland

I found this on World Vital Records:

b. abt. 1772

d. 9 Dec 1828

Cause of death: Inflammation    Location: Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland

On MyHeritage there are four entries for William (two each of the following):

1.   b. abt 1770 in Cawdor, Nairnshire, Scotland. Spouse:  Isobell McIntosh (nee Rose).

2.   b. 1770 in Scotland.  Spouse:  Nancy McIntosh (nee Merideth).  Child:  Solomon Parks McIntosh (1796-1870).
