Looks like someone else had the same question as you at one point. Ran into this discussion on the web. The name is possibly Sprinklesburgh, which is now Newburgh, Indiana. Check the link: https://genealogy.stackexchange.com/questions/11947/deciphering-this-area-of-indiana  I found it because the name looked like Yerklesburgh to me.

Hah! Never knew that, but you're absolutely right! Wikipedia mentions one of the founders was a John Sprinkle, and the first name was Sprinklesburgh. You learn something new every day...
That's funny since that was me who asked over there and I had forgotten and failed to record it!
Nothing truly disappears from the internet. :) I have dealt with a lot of defunct place names, so I tend to go looking for old maps and such, especially in early records.

Looks like it ends with klesburgh

Well, there is a Newburgh and Leesburgh in Indiana, but I don't see either of them fitting that pattern. I'll do a little more hunting around for placenames that might fit.
Edinburgh too...
Vanderburgh, but that's a county. Leesburg doesn't have the "H" at the end, but it's close.
If we add in the "burg's", we get Leesburg, Sellersburg, Veederburg, Brooksburg, Brownsburg, Campbellsburg, Cannelsburg, Farmersburg, Fredericksburg, Hardinsburg, Millersburg, Oldenburg, Greensburg, Scottsburg, Huntingburg, Lawrenceburg, and Petersburg.
