Unsourced Profiles List Not Updated? [closed]

Question

It looks like the unsourced profiles lists may not have been updated for a while?  For example: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Brown-66864 had it's {{unsourced}} tag removed on October 1, but it's still appearing on the list.  I've seen quite a few others with the same issue while working my way through the Indiana list (https://www.softdata.si/wt/Unsourced_20200906/IN/2_1800-1899_4.htm)

I think I see the problem now.  I've been reloading the Indiana report (https://www.softdata.si/wt/Unsourced_20200906/IN/2_1800-1899_4.htm).  One has to re-fetch from the master list (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:DBE_Unsourced) in order to get the updated version of Indiana.

Sorry to answer my own question.

Actually Indiana Unsourced category is the best starting point. Everything is there and automatically updated as needed.

The list is updated once a week only. Oct 1 is on a Sunday, and the list is updated with a snapshot of Sunday. So, it might be that this profile just was not included yet.

If the editor has used the tracker (= followed the link to add a comment to the database at WikiTree+) you should see a comment there.

But Aleš will know better than me.

Thanks, but it's November now. If it's undated once a week it should have been updated multiple times since then. Am I misunderstanding something?

Which page exactly are you looking at? I know there are a few different pages unsourced profiles might show up.

Yes, I have noticed those html pages are not updated regularly. I find it better to use the search on WikiTree+. That will also take into account when someone checks the challenge tracker as it works from the WikiTree+ database.

Or better said: Use a search on Unsourced_Profiles 19cen Indiana

You can play with the century as well if you like some eras more.

Thanks for pointing out this alternative process, Michel.  I've seen the WikiTree+ search form before, but have always been a little unsure how it works. Guess I need to watch the help video.  I did discover the solution to the problem I was having though.  See my answer to my own question.
