Minor clarification regarding dates of source check-box options when creating a profile [closed]

Based on experimentation to confirm the dates ranges, if you make a profile of someone born 1919 to present and you do not put something in the source box or use a ref tag, you get 3 options:

1700+ have the options for unsourced family tree and source will be added by (I believe a proposal may be coming to modify this)

1500+ (assuming you are pre 1700 certified) allows Source will be added by...

My question is regarding the 1919 date. Is this 121 years before present? Or is this supposed to be a floating 100 years ago? When these options were introduced in 2017, it was "if the birth or death date is after 1917". However, it is now late in 2020 and 2019 allows this option. Is this date supposed to be moving forward to be 100 years ago? Or is it intended to 101 years ago, which differs from my read of the original announcement?

And if this is covered in the help, could someone provide a link?

The answer is... a bug was fixed last year and the hard-coded date was switched from 1917 to 1919. We should probably change it so it updates when there is a new year...
