Confused about Cecilia (Ellyson) Elmore Birth 1701 New Kent County VA Death 1772 Rowan, NC. She came up as a ancestor with links to Jamestown for me via WikiTree when I did an ancestor search for Jamestown, however documents I saw on Ancestry from the Quakers show that she was Cherokee and adopted by the Ellysons. Then again the documents showed her married to two different Elmores and her daughter Mary (my 6th great grandmother I think) born more than 9 months after Thomas died. My ancestry membership has expired, so I don't know how to view the documents. I guess I should have saved them to my computer (next time). I can view a supposed typed copy of the last will and testament of her husband Thomas that I found on Ancestry. Last Will and Testament Thomas Elmore
