how do i change from living to not living? my grandmother passed yesterday i need to update the tree.

My grandmother Cornealia Francis Gulley Dominey ( Gulley-238 ) passed away yesterday. I tried to put her death date but it won't save it. Also how or where do I put like health issues on a persons file. I just need to know so I can put in the records about her dementia. please help me on this I cant do this alone.

Sorry for your loss, Lacey. Ros would be right if your grandmother was a member of WikiTree with her own account password. That doesn't appear to be the case here, so see the advice from Laura and Marion.

Did you click the certain circle when you put her date of death in? If the system thinks she is still living it will not allow you to save the date. If adding the date and clicking certain does not work then comment on my post and I will see what needs to be done.
Unless one of our other wonderful, helpful WikiTreers knows another reason it may not have saved.

Sorry for your loss Lacey.
As Laura says you have to click ‘certain’ for her death.
Also try putting the day, month year ie 8 Nov 2020 rather than month day year (11/8/2020) . Don’t know why but sometimes it works
