I am searching for the date and birthplace of Leopold Glaser in Prussia. According to family records, he was born ca 1848 in "Posen," emigrated to the USA in 1873, and died in the Bronx, New York City in 1922. His New York municipal death record states that his father's name is Samuel Glaser, born in Germany; and that his mother's name is Louisa, also born in Germany. Leopold's wife Ernestine also has "Posen" listed as her birthplace, as well as also emigrating in 1873 - it is unknown whether they were married in Germany or New York. Ernestine's municipal death record lists her father as Henry Getz, and her mother as Ray Haas, both born in Germany.
