Can you add DNA connections where there isn't a genealogical common ancestor?

I am DNA related to several descendants of [[Birch-1146|William Birch]] and [[Craddock-403|Phoebe Craddock]].  This is one example of many similar DNA connections where I know there is a DNA connection because of the multiple DNA descendants that I'm related to, however, no connection to my direct relatives genealogically.

Can I add a sentence under sources to confirm that I am a DNA relative even though I don't have the genealogy to back it up?  I haven't found a common DNA relative to my personal tree.

I have several similar situations where it would be helpful to highlight that there are potential connections that need further research.  Perhaps in a Research Notes section, rather than Sources?  Or ever a Freespace page, if you want to include more detail and not clutter up your profile with it.
