Looking for family of Mary (Kelly) Dunton b5/5/1838 Belfast Ireland

I've begun researching my family tree, both my parents have records on here and I have contacted the page managers to use them in my family tree.  I have an extensive family tree on 23&me, but I have hit a wall on my Great-Great Grandmother Mary (Kelly) Dunton, born May 5th, 1838 in Belfast Ireland.  I was able to find a record on here (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Kelly-2940) that might be her, but no one is managing the page.  Looking for any advice you all can provide.

Thanks!

Kelly-2940 looks to refer to someone who moved to northumberland  - see this census record https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:SG62-FDL for 1851

I am thinking that is a different family, as the last name is Kelley, and mine came to America where she married my grandfather's maternal grandfather William Dunton.

Looks like her brother Patrick Kelly-2943 has a profile

manager. You might want to click her send private message

and ask her your questions Diane Brookes might be

related. Keep in mind this profile was made in 2012.

Mary Kelly married William Dunton 09 Jul 1865 in Davidson, Tennessee https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:KZ75-8YX

The 1910 census records a Mary Dutton puts her birth year as 1850 in Ireland, immigration date 1889 https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M2V8-769 In 1910 she was living with William in Framingham, , Massachusetts. Surname variants need to be considered as transcribers don't always get it right

Hi Rick,

I've seen several different spellings for the name even within the family so I wouldn't worry too much about that.  From what I can tell though, Patrick's sister was born in Roscommon, Ireland which is some distance from Belfast.  The family moved to Northumberland, England sometime in the late 40s but then spent a few years in New York in the early 60s and appear on the electoral records there.  I am not sure if Mary went to America with them as I can't access records at the minute.  When I next subscribe to ancestry, I'll look into it a bit more for you.

I hope this helps,

Dianne
