Can anyone please help me with the birth year and parents of John Stewart. I have a birth date for John of 14 January 1793 In Auchterarder, Perthshire, Scotland, but haven't definitely confirmed it. John married Janet Drummond (1795-?, unknown birth place) on 15 October 1815 in Madderty, Perth, Scotland.
I believe they had the following children, all born in Madderty - Ann (1816-?), Alexander (1818-?), Jean (1820-?), Janet (1822-?), John (1824-?), James (1826-?), David (1828-?), Andrew (1830-1911), Elizabeth (1832-?), Margaret (1836-1892).
John's parents may have been James Stewart (unknown place/date of birth) and Ann Smith (unknown place/date of birth).
James and Ann's children?? - Donald (1791-?), John (1793-?), Janet (1794-?), James (1796-?), William (1797-?), Elizabeth (1802-?).
I have no details for James's parents but am wondering if they could be Donald Stewart (1724-1800) and Janet Stewart (1730-1815) as James's first born son is Donald and first born daughter is Janet.
Can anyone please help? Any information would be greatly apppreciated.
