Elaine, I just made the change to format the source citation you indicated in the biography section, changing it into what we call an "inline source".
To do this, you can click the "C" button just above the text box and it will automatically put the <ref> and </ref> tags there for you. All you have to do is to put the citation itself in between those two tags.
I also removed the brackets [ and ] that you had placed around the link. That's what caused the numbers to display as links instead of the actual link address. If you wish to hide the link address and display something more reader friendly, you could use the brackets, putting the link address first, then a space followed by whatever words you want to display as the link itself. Example:
