I would like to join this study. I am a descendants Edmond Rice 1594 to 1663; son Thomas Rice Sr., 1626 to 1681; son Thomas Rice Jr., 1654 to 1747; son Beriah Rice Sr., 1702 to 1764; son Beriah Rice Jr., 1747 to before 1818; Catherine Rice, 1799 to 1856. I found information that Rice originated from Wale, with difference spelling such at Rhys, Reese and Reece. Rhys originated from Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire, Wales. Have anyone find information of the Rice or Rhys in Wales? Not much to works with.

Hi!! Ken,

I have so far found no variation in the spelling of my branch of the RICE  family although I have seen all those different spellings in the possible searches.

here is a hot-link for the Free UK Decendants.

I wish that Wikitree could give a quick indication alongside the lists of names as to the place born and then died ether prefix letter or Flag wou;d certainly speed the matching up

 . . . Many Thanks Brian RICE
