What was the true life of Harman Back?

There has been controversy surrounding Harman Back for years now. I'm posing a challenge to all those who claim to be a direct descendant of Harman Back, who is my 6th. great grandfather on my biological father's side to take the 700 marker test or similar testing to find out what your Y-DNA is, mine is E-FT137267, this is down a ways from V22.

Great advice Ronnie.  As you know, you have multiple matches to descendants of Harman Jr., John Back of Breathitt Co KY and Henry Back of Letcher Co KY.  Most of these have now upgraded to 111 STR matkers which places all of them within the time frame of being descendants of a common ancestor with Harman Sr.'s time of birth.  All test subjects or those who are thinking about DNA testing are invited to the Bach To Back DNA Project at Family Tree DNA to compare your DNA with other descendants or even just to ask questions.

Ronnie, we now have two Big Y tests in the project and two more have been ordered by the members of the Bach to Back DNA Project at Family Tree DNA.  Thank you for being the first to test Big Y.  We learn more with each test.
