Parents listed as John A.and Nancy Parker. But can’t fin find John A. and Nancy Parker’s birth or death.  Thanks for any information

There is a pedigree file which isn't much to go on I know but it says Melvina married Hugh Rogers in 1853 in Jackson North Carolina. It gives a father for her of John R. Parker 1803-1870 https://ancestors.familysearch.org/en/9HSY-H2M/melvina-parker-1827-1893

I just don’t know what age or date of birth I should start off with to add John seems he was married twice Melvina from first wife and William J Parker second marriage, but it could be two John and Nancy Parker’s.

William Parker's death in 1915 gives John and Nancy as the parents https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:F3ZH-QRD. Another child Jason who died in 1929 gives the same parents https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:F3Z3-ZKH though spells Nancy's name Philliby

Thank you I see a note says John that his first wife was maiden name Queen but can’t seem to find her, birth would be est.1803 and passed away before 1844 because John married Nancy Phillips 1844 , but would like to see a better source listing Queen as last name

Yes I can't find a marriage to Queen either. A relative John P. Parker (probably a son) married a Nancy Queen in Haywood in 1850 but that is too late. though incorrectly given in some pedigree files

One of the pedigrees that incorrectly gives the "Queen" marriage is this one https://www.genealogy.com/ftm/s/m/a/Anthony-David-Smart/GENE1-0040.html but it hints that John A. Parker's parents may have been William Parker and Martha Anderson

I guess a death certificate for one of the older children is our best bet, but they may have all called step mom the mother and no one ever recorded the correct information.
