I wanted to share this photo of Simeon Bardsley with the community. Simeon died of "consumption" [TB] in 1897, and two of the older children died of it within a few years. My grandmother, Edith May Bardslay Davis, succumbed to it in 1923 at the age of 37. Her mother, Anna Wall Bardsley outlived her husband and five of her six children. This photo was clipped from a Bardsley family studio photograph which shows Simeon and Anna seated, with Edith May on their left and my father's "Uncle Wesley" on their right. Standing behind the parents are four older siblings, two handsome sons, and two lovely daughters. If anyone can advise me how to make that photograph available to all interested, please let me know.
