What's the definition of "related" used for the Suggestions Report?

This is not a criticism or complaint, just wondering for my own information: what is the definition used for the Suggestions Report that is accessed from the bottom of the second column of a profile, entitled Suggestions in profiles related to ...?

I'm finding more and more suggestions for people like: the sister of the sister-in-law of my great-grandmother (6 steps); the father-in-law of my first cousin twice removed (7 steps); the step-mother of the mother-in-law of my 2nd-great-uncle (I think! 8 steps).

It defaults to All profiles 'related' in some way.  There are a few lines 'above' the Generation 0 line.  You can select 'Blood' so it will only show Blood relatives.

If you select Suggestions from the drop down under My WikiTree, that will give you the Suggestions for your Watch List, which are profiles that you are PM for or are on Trusted List, which might be what you really want to look at.  You can also get to that list from the list that you are referencing by selecting the line 'Show suggestions in profiles managed by WikiTree ID' above Generation 0 line.

Thank you Linda. I have never noticed the Blood Relatives option before - that's very helpful.
Glad I could help.  Those lines are frequently overlooked.

Thanks Pip for the star
