Looking for the mother of John Adams[son] born 1615 in Sth Walsham

looking for the mother of john adams[son] born 10th sept 1615 in sth walsham norfolk

died 1669. His wife was Elizabeth Robson. The BMD say the father was John Addams

Hi Phyllis,

I have found that many earlier parish records do not record the name of a mother for a baptism and the only way you can infer who she was is by looking for the marriage of the father and then sort of double check by looking for the later burial of the mother who will usually be refered to as "Wife of "

It does make things difficult, prior to standardisation.
