I would like to know if it is possible to retrieve historical data from WikiTree database using API via Python script?

Hey Djamila,

Welcome to G2G.

Do you mean the previous versions of a profile? I do not think that is possible.

The possibilities are listed on the API page: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:API_Documentation

Note that getting a  lot of data via the API is not preferred, that is what the datadumps are for. You are still at the guest level, would be nice if you could upgrade your account for free and let us know what genealogy you are involved with.
