Henry Thomas Burnett 1859 Virginia

Question

Hi everyone,

I have hit a dead end.  There are two things that I am having a very difficult time finding for some reason and yes, they are related...

First is Henry Thomas Burnett born 1859 in Pittsylvania County Virginia. The only info I have on a partner is Mary. So as I said I am looking for info on his death. I have looked everywhere around VA, NC, WV, MD and no luck anywhere. I am also looking for info on his partner.

I have not been able to find death certificates for either of them and I looked for a marriage license to get the date and her maiden name but no luck there.

If anyone has any info on these two it would be greatly appreciated. I have a lot of my tree done back to ~1775 but I have this big gap in that leg of the family.

That definitely looks like them. I did come across the name Mary Elliott one time. But since I only saw it once and could not verify, I was a little shaky on using it. But, everything else looks good. I know he had a big family and one of the photos says this is child #10. (WOW!) So thanks for the information. I am now much farther along than I was.

This cert if for Mrs Katie Estelle Burnett. I have come across that name in my searches. So I Definitely believe this to be the correct family. The names, location, everything seems correct. Thank you very much for this information, it is greatly appreciated.  On a side note, this cert lists the funeral home as Wrenn-Yeats. When my father passed on May 8, 2008, that was the funeral home that we used. That seems to be the one that my family has always used...
