Profile set to both Open and Public, cannot edit. [closed]

Question

The attached profile is set to Public, but also set to Open. I'd like to add parents but cannot do so. It qualifies clearly as an Open profile according to DOB and DOD.
I have emailed the PM but unsure if he'll be able to fix this, looks like some sort of bug to me.

I have no problem editing that profile - and attempting to add a parent pulled up the correct add a person page.

Have you tried logging out and back in?

Actually I was mostly confused by the two unlocked padlocks in the Privacy tab. (Tried to add this as a snapshot but it didn't work.)

I've been used to working on profiles that I manage for so long that the lack of a "Profile - Private View" tab threw me; of course, I can add parents by going into the edit menu and selecting from the list on the right.

D'oh! I was having a senior moment it seems.

Are you getting some sort of error message when trying to add a new parent?
