Unconnected People in the Hermann tree.

The new App that reveals "Ancestors" that are unconnected has given me a nice headache. There are 34 persons on the Herrmann/Hermann branch of my tree that appear to be totally unconnected to my line & are not related to me. There is no way to connect them. Do I simply leave this group of people who will hopefully, one day connect to someone's tree? I am not sure how this happened but I suspect that I made the mistake of working backwards instead of forwards ( youngest to oldest Ancestor ) Please advise what action I should take.

It is entirely up to you. You could investigate to see if they eventually connect. You can remain profile manager, or, you can remove yourself as manager (as long as they are open profiles) which will orphan them.
