Jonathan Browne is my 7th great grandfather, he is the son of Abraham Browne who was part of the Puritan Great Migration. I have been trying to find evidence of connection between This family and Peter Browne, passenger on the Mayflower, and have been unsuccessful.

Have any of you speculated or found evidence of the family connection? Abraham and Peter maybe nephew or cousins?

Relationship Finder doesn't show a connection: Relationship Finder

But if you  click on "Connection Finder" on that page there's a separation of nine degrees that requires two connections by marriage.  So, the two men came from different Browne families.
