Thank you Wikitree team for all that you do. I want to make sure I do everything correctly on here and not break the rules.

Yes, I handle my moms Wikitree profile Weaver-12554. So, I am not allowed to post a question she wanted me to ask on her behalf while in her profile?

Hi Kathy. The rule about discussion of living people on G2G is here. The most relevant parts are:

... do not discuss a living person's genealogy or other personal information in comments.

You can discuss yourself, and others can participate in a discussion about you that you initiated. These discussions should not reveal any information about your living family members unless they are WikiTree members and the information is already public on their profiles. Other living family members may be mentioned if you can do it without revealing their identity.

... Our primary concern is the discussion of the genealogy of living people without their consent. ...

So if you have your mother's consent, you can discuss her question, provided it does not concern any other living people apart from her. You should avoid revealing her identity however.

Another approach would be for your mother to become a WikiTree member too. That might make things easier.

The mother IS a member.
Thanks Melanie, I missed that sorry.

Kathy, this means you can discuss the question here provided it's about "information ... already public on" her profile. If the information you want to ask about isn't on the profile already, you could add it (with your mother's consent).
Thanks so much.
Thanks very much.
