Julien Lalonde born 1838-? Need Cemetery and burial location

Question

Julien Lalonde was born December 8, 1838 in St-Polycarpe, Soulanges, Bas-Canada the son of Louis Lalonde and Marthe Quesnel. He married Henriette Durocher Courtemanche March 21, 1858.

Note: Great Great grandson of Sarah (Allen) Hélène (1692 - 1764) 

Julien Lalonde is the great grandfather to Simone Lalonde (1911 - 1967) who was married to notable Gratien Gelinas (1909 - 1999)

We need help adding sources and cemetery info

His son Eloi Lalonde passed away fairly young after being married for a short time. How did he die? Where is he buried?

The only burial I can find that is after 1901 is this one:

There are a number of other Lalonde burials after 1900, but none with the name specifically Julien. Do you have a middle name at all?

Thank you this shows he was a farmer and was born in Quebec. He was able to speak French and English with his religion being Roman Catholic. A good source to build upon

I can not seem to enter his birth location. The French language isn’t easy for me either. I hope someone can add the demographic info for this 19th century French family 

He married Henriette Durocher Courtemanche March 21, 1858. Her fathers last name is “Courtemanche” so how do we add th3 wife with LNAB? Do we use Durocher or Courtemanche?

The easiest way to enter the birth location is to go onto the profile, click over to the "profile private view", and then click the yellow outlined box that says "place of birth" (or "place of death"), etc. It will bring you to the edit screen and down to the spot where you are supposed to enter it.

Almost all of the Lalondes on CanadaGenWeb's Cemetery Project are from Gatineau county.

However, he resided in St Zotique, Soulanges at least until 1901. I can't find any Lalondes in 1911 that match his age in St Zotique, nor in the whole of Quebec. I suspect he died in between 1901 and 1911 like his wife (who died 1905).

You asked about how to enter Henriette's LNAB.  I found her baptism and it was Courtemanche.  Her father Hyacinthe Courtemanche and mother Angelique Henriette Quenelle.

Henriette was born 6/24/1834, baptized in St. Polycarpe the next day.

Julien Lalonde’s mother is Marthe Quesnel and his wife’s mother is Angelique Quesnel and both are the daughters of Jean Baptiste Quesnel (1770 - 1852)

Which would make Julien and his wife first cousins (common in the era)

My paternal lineage is mostly French so when I see a English Female name from Deerfield pop up it amazed me! Of course she is Sarah (Allen) Hélène (1692 - 1764) my 6th GG. The YouTube video of her is excellent https://youtu.be/o3FppbKHpaE it literally brought my heart joy and sadness what she had endured and in the end survived and gave so much in her children’s legacies. She is soooo special I can’t describe how special she is to me.

However, I find it very useful to follow the generations and to lead to official records. Beware of spelling because of standardization.
