Would it be possible to have a download of a Descendant Chart in PDF?

I am so appreciative of the technical features available on WikiTree and was wondering if it would be possible to have a download version of any Descendant Chart that a user chooses? I recently created a nine generation ancestor chart on my father's side, downloaded it and had it printed at Staples on 36" wide by 24" deep; only $30.00  Once Covid is under control, will get it framed. Looks wonderful. Thanks again for these great features. Jim

Hi Jim, are you wanting a pdf in the same format as on the descendants page (example https://www.wikitree.com/genealogy/Danielsen-Descendants-109 ), or in some other format?

Hello Jamie: Your link does not seem to work. It only to goes to my own page. I was hoping for a PDF type file similar to what we can get from the Ancestor fan chart app.

When I select any of my ancestors and then select descendants, I would like to be able to convert the long scroll view down into a PDF.

Thanks, Jim

A work around would be to download the GedCom, import that into (free and Open Source) Gramps and choose one of the many graphs/reports in there. PDF export is included. For printing, your printer might advice another format.

Michel:

I have a complete family tree on FTM on my private home computer, but my version (quite old) of FTM does not make nice coloured descendant charts like Wikitree does. I was just wondering and perhaps hoping that the same technical wizard that gave us the Fan Ancestor Chart might be able to do the same with the descendant charts. Thanks and be safe.

Developers in general like appreciation and requests... so then I would suggest to contact him/her directly.

The ones that are publicly known are listed on here: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Apps
