I don't think there is actually going to be a Scan A Thon next month - see Eowyn's comment on https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/1141375/what-do-you-think-of-this-weakest-link-correct-a-thon-idea?show=1152368#c1152368.

If you add scanned sources for living people then those sources would be privacy locked and cannot be shown to anybody. Just like the profiles.

And according to valid privacy laws, you must have the explicit permission of the person if you want to publish photos of living persons.

Fotos of yourself you can post without problems.
