I'm between 32 and 51 degrees from all of those, but only 1 degree from a United States Air Force pilot who flew 196 wild weasel combat missions in Vietnam, whose medals include the Silver Star.  Even more remarkable than that is the effort he's put into survival since his cardiac arrest nearly 3 years ago.

I am between 34 and 17 connections to all of them. I see that Gaile and Tommy are also connected to all of them.

What I see is that WikiTree has grown so well and so big that we are beginning to really see our connection to everyone. One Big Tree.

I met Chuck Yeager a couple of times.  We shared a common workplace, Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards AFB, CA.  He was, of course, one of my aviation heroes.  But there were many not listed here.  Col James Doolittle was a particularly remarkable aviator for me because of his WWII career but he was also the Shell Oil company pilot and the only man to fly a plane with my grandmother aboard. Among so many, both stand tall.

I am 6 degrees from Chuck Yeager. My grandfather (Kenneth J Sizemore) and his mother (Susie Mae Sizemore) were first cousins.
