The 1841 census for England gives Euphronios Sanderson age 14 but I am unable to find anything else about him

Question

I have been researching the Sanderson family of 'Rose Place' Claines, Worcestershire.

I have managed to identify 11 children of which one son who appears on the 1841 England census remains a mystery since I can find no other records for him.

He was Euphronios Sanderson listed as Age 14 (so could have been born between 1822-1826) in Worcestershire.

I am reluctant to add him to WikiTree with such slender evidence of his existence, I wonder if anyone else could help please?

He doesn't appear in the 1851 census, but his brother George Septimus does (who does not appear to be there in 1841).  Have you checked for deaths?

Have you thought of applying for his mother's Will (with Codicil)?

The surviving executors are named as her son Edward Scott Sanderson, Esquire, and John Tymbs, of Worcester, Gentleman.

I have no idea what it would cost, but you can apply for it on the probate search service UK website. (That link is to the page for her entry, so you don't need to hunt through the rest of the pages.)

Edited to correct "her" to "his mother's", because that was out of nowhere for this thread, even if it tracked in my brain.

The only family members still at home in 1861 are Edward, and Fanny.

I do think it is possible she named her living children in her Will -- and it might help to know who the deceased Executors were, especially if she named others of her sons.

Do you have the census image ? It could be a mis-transcription of Septimus.  Septimus and Octavius are in the correct places in your list of children ( 7th and 8th )

It's very clearly not Septimus.  It has been transcribed as "Euphrouius" and corrected to "Euphronius".
