There are a number of Thomas Haworth's born around 1907 in the Blackburn registration district, but none specifically 1907. Likewise a number of John t Haworths around 1870, but only one 1870, the detail of which was answered to previous  in an earlier question.

Indeed A John t  Haworth married 1896, Blackburn-- Annie Elzabeth Graham. Was that the John t born 1870, father of Thomas? Frankly not sure.

My advice is to work away from the latest and specifically known parent /grandparent and review the certified copy of their marriage certificate. This document will be specific on the partner's fathers & there occupation. Work back from that evidence through census and try to resolve.

Feel free to contact me through my wikitree profile & I will gladly try to assist you in finding your ancestry through the many John & Thomas Haworths.

Haworths of Blackburn

As you are sure that John  Thomas is the son of James and Margaret, then the family unit are found, 1871, living at 71 Salford ,Blackburn:

1871 Census

NAME

AGE

James Haworth

30

Margaret Haworth

28

John Haworth

2

James is described as a Master Butcher.

In 1881, it appears that James has died as Margaret with sons still living at 71 Salford , where she is described as a widow and Butcher

1881 Census

NAME

AGE

Margt. Haworth

38

John Haworth

12

James Haworth

8

Clearly John Thomas was not born in 1870, rather 1868 or 1869.

Three candidates are possible:

Blackburn: 8e/342 q June 1868

                    8e/305 q December 1868

                    8e/368 q June 1869

I have unable to trace John Thomas in 1891 & 1901 or his mother Margaret.

by Living Woodhouse G2G6 Pilot (280k points)

Now John Thomas’, father James, born around 1840 from 1871 census.

James in 1861, Census:

NAME                  AGE

John Haworth         23

Alice Haworth           3

Jane Steel              39

Edward Haworth    58

Jane Haworth         59

James Haworth       20

Christopher Haworth   17

James is described as a butcher

Now 1851 Census:

NAME                       AGE

Edmund Haworth         69

Jane Haworth               67

Sarah Haworth             20

Mary Ann Haworth       18

Edmund Haworth         16

John Haworth               14

James Haworth             11

Christopher Haworth       7

Jane Steel                      27

Notice Edward is now Edmund but Jane Steel is still in the profile. Edmund & Jane’s age seem strange, but in 1851 census not reliable

And now the 1841 Census:

NAME

AGE

Edwd Haworth

35

Jane Haworth

35

Thos Haworth

15

Samuel Haworth

15

William Haworth

13

Sarah Haworth

11

Mary Ann Haworth

8

Edward Haworth

5

James Haworth

1

Jane Steele

15

John Haworth

3

Note James’s father is back to Edward, & Jane Steele is in the profile.

Jane is the confirmation that they are the same family unit BUT

England Birth & Christenings records these baptisms at St. Pauls, Blackburn:

James Haworth b 30 January 1840, christened 27 February 1840, EdWARd Howarth & Jane.

James Haworth b 28 January 1840, christened 23 February 1840, EdMUNd Howarth & Jane.

????

James married Margaret Hindle ( Blackburn 8e/305, q March 1865).
