Complete Blank on Mother of Mary Ann Chinnery and further family

I have drawn a complete blank going further back than my Grandmother on my mother's side.  I know her father's name was Thomas Chinnery from her marriage record, and there is a story that my mother was a quarter Irish, so her  mother (this Mary Ann)'s father or mother is likely to be Irish.

Any help that anyone can offer will be gratefully received - pointers to sites where I can search further.  I have tried with the existing links I can find, but have drawn a blank in Ireland too (or rather the search is far too wide)

She was born in 1877 not 1879

"England and Wales Birth Registration Index, 1837-2008," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:2X6F-5G5 : 1 October 2014), Mary Chinery, 1877; from "England & Wales Births, 1837-2006," database, findmypast (http://www.findmypast.com : 2012); citing Birth Registration, Medway, Kent, England, citing General Register Office, Southport, England

Name: Mother's Maiden Surname:
CHINERY, MARY     ALLEN
GRO Reference: 1877  J Quarter in MEDWAY  Volume 02A  Page 499

Her surname was misspelled Chinery which is why you might have missed it.

She's probably the Mary Prentice who died in Q3 1962 at age 83. She would have actually been 85 but the 1939 Register has a birth year of 1879 as you've seen.

"England and Wales Death Registration Index 1837-2007," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QVCK-RXWL : 4 September 2014), Mary Prentice, 1962; from "England & Wales Deaths, 1837-2006," database, findmypast (http://www.findmypast.com : 2012); citing Death, Rochford, Essex, England, General Register Office, Southport, England

As others have already said, there are already family trees for both her parents. Here is Mary Allen: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/sources/L82M-4WV

Fabulous, she obviously forgot how old she was, I was less than 2 when she died so I cannot recall (not surprisingly!)  My mother often tried to pretend she was younger than she was too, it was obviously a family trait.
I did actually find that 1877 entry, but at the time I had nothing to pin the Allen Mother's maiden name to, so didn't progress.
I don't think it was forgetfulness as she was already claiming to be 26 (actually 28) when she married in 1905!

Thanks Chris, I may be being thick, but where do I find what you have added for me?
Because of what Marion put down if you scroll down on
