Very nice, as an Army Brat, I am proud to salute both these ladies! They look pretty happy, so I hope their time in the service was pleasant. What a great piece of family history you have there. What a great opportunity that must have been for her! Most of my ancestors also served in different branches of the military. Thank you for sharing!

I love this! The coloring in the picture, the fact she enlisted, everything about it.  I recently acquired two old albums my grandmother had kept and this was in it.  Ruby was her sister. I created a Facebook group and added family hoping they can identify more of the pictures.
