PGM?  I don't know the meaning ...

Hi George,  PGM is an acronym for the WikiTree project called Puritan Great Migration.  Here's our main page:

I see nothing that indicates she did not arrive with her husband in 1638 (Anderson, GMD, p 101). I did note that Anderson is spelling Earl as Earl rather than Earle as seen in WikiTree. I don't believe she appears in the Great Migration series.

So she should be PMG? Or she should not be? Yes the spelling is confusing on both profiles. Most records I have found state Earl. I will see if there is an immigration list with both her and her husband, but it is assumed that they came together. I just wanted to reach out to the project and see if we can give her the same protection as her husband.
Hi Carrie,

Generally speaking in PGM project:   when there is no indication whether the wife migrated with the husband by 1640, it is assumed she did and she is included in the project.  Additionally the couple had children born both in England and New England, showing that she did migrate.

I'll add the profile of Joan (Savage) Earl(e) to the PGM project.
Thank you for adding her to the project, and clarifying how profiles are identified, I was unsure why she was not identified as PGM and PPP, when her husband was.
you're sure welcome, Carrie.  And my thanks to you for bringing this profile to the attention of the PGM project.
