In the profile for Bridget (Goode) Torpy (abt. 1816 - 1885) [Goode-1734] it is stated that she sponsored her remaining daughters to come out to Australia three years after arriving in Australia. The oldest daughter, Bridget, was 10 years old at the time, Catherine eight and Honora six.

They are Torpy-52 , Torpy-53, and Torpy-51 The Talavera arrival could be attached to those.

I think arrived 25th, but not released from quarantine until the 6th. So passengers didn't disembark/arrive until the 6th...

I think it says they came from Coolkeeragh, County Tyrone, Ireland (see http://www.placenamesni.org/resultdetails.php?entry=3465)

Hopefully someone will have better luck than I. the only ship with then name Talavera I could find was launched in 1818 and destroyed in 1840. I also could not find emigration to Australia in 1853, record I did find showed origin Liverpool and dates ranging 1860 - 1880.

Here are some different sources; (with reference to the immigration record provided by Paul M)...searching https://trove.nla.gov.au/ for 'Talavera' across September 1853.

A brief mention that she departed 'London".  https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/62049293?searchTerm=talavera

Then others that she was quarantined (measles) & had 2 men desert ship.

Another mention of Talavera having departed the UK.  https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/61328021?searchTerm=talavera

Then (finally I got it) Talavera sailed from Southampton.  https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/28643983?searchTerm=talavera
